OUR MINISTRIES
We have a close partnership with the Harting School and bring worship to the children on a weekly basis. Our Minister Linda is very active at the school and is on the board of Govenors.
We share the Parish Magazine with our friends from the Parish Church and either Linda reports on the happenings at our church and send a message to the readers.
prayers
Each week in church we have our prayers for those of our Church and in the wider community who are unwell. But let us not forget these people in our daily Prayers.
Praying is the main way for us to keep in contact with our Lord.
So wether we pray in the conventional way or just silently within our own space our prayers are important.
sunday school
Our Sunday morning service incorporates our children's worship. They join us for the first Hymn and prayers. After which they go through to the hall to have their own time which we call Kidz Club. We have a dedicated team of helpers who give the children so much fun and entertainment whilst bringing them to believe in our Lord and most of them are upset when they cannot attend.
At the end of our service the children often return to us to show their achievments.The first Sunday of the Month is our Family Service when the children stay for the whole service.
youth
We have a very active youth music and drama group called Unity. They meet in our church hall on a monthly basis. Ages range from 5 - 16 years old.
During the Christmas service and at other times they play a huge part in worship with performances based on Bible stories, but with their own delightful interpretation.
music
Here at Harting we have a very strong and rich musical ethos, in the morning we have a music group, occasionally consisting of some of our young people, and in the evening the music is led by our choir who with our director of music always put their heart and soul into the worship.
New members are always very welcome and they meet for practice on Wednesday evenings. Practice suspended due to covid
Wednesday Fellowship
On the first Wednesday of each month we meet at 2-30 pm and have a variety of interesting speakers on many topics.
It was at one time Womens Fellowship but with a growing male attendance the name was changed.
People of any or no denomination are welcome to join us.
Our Fellowship leader Joyce does a brilliant job of keeping us entertained.
